Manu Singh


Manu completed M.A. & PhD in History (Arts) from the University of Lucknow. She simultaneously studied Art at Triveni Kala Sangam, New Delhi. She also joined University of Geneva, Art & Design Department, Switzerland as student support.

She has exhibited her artworks in various group shows in India and abroad. She held her first solo show at Lalit Kala Academy, New Delhi in 2011. She participated in the annual exhibitions of All India fine Arts and Crafts Society (AIFACS) in 2009 & 2010. Her paintings were exhibited at the Professional Camlin Annual Competition and displayed in AIFACS gallery, New Delhi in 2009 & 2010. In 2011 she was commissioned to make glass paintings for the Trauma Centre, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. In 2013 Sahitya Kala Parishad showcased her work, along with other leading women painters of Delhi, in the exhibition ‘Vama’ held at the Twin Art Gallery, Indira Gandhi Center for the Arts, New Delhi. Her work was also selected for the 20th Ravi Jain annual show & exhibited at Dhoomimal Gallery, New Delhi. Her works are regularly being displayed at the Open Air Gallery at Triveni Kala Sangam.  Her recent solo show, ‘Wings, Shadows & 1000 Birds,’ was held at Shridharani Gallery, New Delhi in January 2014.

Her works are in the collections of the Art & Design Department of University of Geneva, Trauma Center of AIIMS, The Lalit in New Delhi, the Art M Gallery, and other private collections.
